Stress, Adrenals, and Wellbeing

Stress is a pervasive part of everyday life. Your body has inherent mechanisms to protect you from the effects of stress, but over time, that protection can become weakened, resulting in symptoms such as insomnia, weight gain, wonky hormones, thyroid issues, and more. In this workshop you will learn about what is happening in the body when “stress” occurs, ways to stay balanced, and the overall naturopathic approach to addressing stress that allows your body to adapt properly.

Price: $10 for Women Supporting Women Center Members/$15 for Non-members

Naturopathic Medicine Week Celebration!

This celebration reflects the US Senate’s unanimous passage of a resolution to support Naturopathic Medicine Week for the second year in a row!

Congress thus recognized the ability of naturopathic physicians to “provide safe, effective, and affordable health care” and to play an essential role in addressing the nation’s pressing shortage of primary care physicians.

This celebration is for both our current supporters and the public to come and get together, learn more about naturopathic medicine, and meet some local naturopathic doctors. If you already support naturopathic medicine, or if you want your loved ones to learn more about it, this event is for you!

RSVP at: 603-606-1345. Thank you!

About: Holistic Pelvic Care™

The female pelvic floor consists of muscles and surrounding tissues that help to support the pelvic organs. The health and balance of the pelvic floor is essential for the well-being of women, however due to common stressors such as prolonged sitting, injury, and birth this balance can be difficult to maintain. If dysfunction in this area is not addressed early on, it can progress from no symptoms to complaints such as urinary leakage, chronic pain, prolapse and/or pain with intercourse. Holistic Pelvic Care™, developed by a woman’s health PT Tami Kent, offers a gentle approach to balance these muscles, reducing pain and increasing blood flow and energy to the area. Come learn about this treatment and how Dr. Murray uses it in conjunction with naturopathic medicine to assist women in re-balancing and honoring in their bodies.
